Miss World USA 1972 Lynda Jean Cordova Carter was born on July 24, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S. This 70-year-old American actress and singer attended Arizona State University. Her father, Colby Carter is of Scottish and English descent and her mother Juana Córdova is of Spanish, Mexican and French descent. Lynda was the youngest in the family and she had two more elder siblings.

Lynda started her career at the age of five with her television debut in Lew King’s Talent Show. Later, during high school, she joined a band named Just Us. In 1970, she made her debut in her music career after dropping out of Arizona State University.
Carter started her acting career when she made a small appearance in the television movie A Matter of Wife… And Death, in the year 1976. She gained acknowledgment for her performance in the television series Wonder Woman which got aired from 1975 to 1979.
