Born February 13, 1933 in Illinois of Chicago, U.S.A, Marilyn Pauline “Kim” Novak is a retired American Film Actress. When she began her acting career in 1954, she was signed by Columbia Pictures and quickly became a success with roles in films such as Picnic (1955), The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), and Pal Joey (1957). She retired from acting after working for 37 years in 1991.

In her interview in 2021, she talked about her love for paintings and how her paintings were there to rescue her. Novak portrayed her grief for the passing of her Husband in 2020 by creating a portrait so that she could communicate with him.
She told in the interview that she was raped in her childhood, bullied by multiple boys and this along with the strictness of her father was a major contributor for her bad mental health.
When asked about Alfred Hitchcock, Novak said he was fine with her as he had a bad reputation for mentally torturing his female stars.
