Ellen Page, now popular as Elliot Page, is a Canadian actor born on 21 February 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His father, Dennis Page, was a graphic designer, and his mother, Martha Philpotts, was a teacher. Ellen was born a female; however, in 2014, she declared herself a gay woman. In 2020, Ellen publicly announced herself as transgender and transitioned into a male. She declared this through her social media and changed her name to Elliot Page.

As per Elliot, he was compelled to share his story due to anti-transgender rhetoric in politics. In 2021, Elliot appeared on the cover of ‘Time’ magazine as the first openly trans man. He told in an interview that he was queer and nonbinary and had felt like a boy since the age of nine.
