Does Coconut Oil Work for Stretch Marks?

1. Coffee Grounds and Coconut Oil for Stretch Marks
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of liquefied extra virgin coconut oil.
- ½ cup of coffee grounds
How to apply?
- Mix the 2 ingredients.
- Pour the mixture into moulds
- Refrigerate for 5 hours.
- Remove from the moulds and put them in a zip lock bag
- Refrigerate the bag
- Before a bath, take one of the blocks and scrub over the stretch marks.
- Rest for 5 minutes. Wash and bath as you normally do.
- Repeat regularly till scars are reduced.
Benefit: The caffeine content improves collagen production that lightens and tightens that skin and make the stretch marks fade.
2. Turmeric and Coconut Oil for Stretch Marks
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder.
How to apply?
- Mix the two ingredients.
- Clean the area and Apply the mixture on the stretch marks.
- Rest for 20 minutes.
- Repeat 3 times daily till scars are reduced.
Benefit: Turmeric contains volatile oil, cucurmin, fibers, sesquiterpene alcohols and ketones, and monoterpenes which reduce the stretch marks.
3. Shea Butter and Coconut Oil for Stretch Marks
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter
- 2 tablespoons of shea butter
- 6 to 7 drops of Vitamin E oil.
How to apply?
- Mix the ingredients.
- Melt the mixture over a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Add the Vitamin E oil.
- Let the mixture cool down.
- Scoop a small amount of the mixture and apply it on the stretch marks.
- Allow the skin to absorb the mixture completely.
- Repeat twice daily till scars are reduced.

Ingredients:

5. Almond Oil and Coconut Oil for Stretch Marks
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of coconut oil
- 3 teaspoons of almond oil
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter
- Glass jar
How to apply?
- Put the ingredients together in a small pan and heat oil gently until all the components melt and mix.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
- Pour in the glass jar.
- Apply twice daily on the stretch marks till they reduce.

6. Baking Soda and Coconut Oil for Stretch Marks
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda.
