How to Use Aloe Vera for Dark Spots on Face?

Vitamin E Oil and Aloe Vera Gel

  • Mix together 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and half a tablespoon of vitamin E oil. You and also use a capsule of vitamin E by breaking the capsule and mixing it with the gel.
  • Clean your face with your regular face wash and then using your finger tips gently massage the gel mixture on your face.
  • Let it dry on your skin for at least 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Wash off the mask with cold water and your regular face wash and let this exfoliate your skin.

Repetitions: Follow this process twice weekly to avoid dark spots.

Honey and Aloe Vera

  • Mix together 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed aloe vera gel, 1/4th teaspoon of turmeric, one tablespoon of honey and make a smooth paste.
  • Clean your face with your regular face wash and then using your finger tips gently massage the gel mixture on your face.
  • Let it sit on your skin for at least 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Rinse and wash off the mask with lukewarm water and your regular face wash.

Repetitions: Repeat this process thrice weekly to avoid dark spots.

Lemon Juice and Aloe Vera

  • Mix together 3 tablespoon of freshly squeezed aloe vera gel, 4 teaspoon of fuller’s earth, 2 teaspoon of honey, juice of 1 lemon, and make a smooth paste.
  • Clean your face with your regular face wash and then using your finger tips, gently apply this mixture on your face and let it rest till it is absolutely dry.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water and your regular face wash.

Repetitions: Repeat this process three times a week.

Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera

  • Take 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and combine it with 8 to 10 drops of tea tree oil.
  • Clean your face with your regular face wash and then apply this paste on your skin using your finger tips and gently massage your skin with it.
  • Let it rest on your skin as long as possible. It is thus preferable to apply this mask at night. This mask gives maximum benefit if kept on skin for a long time.
  • Wash your face with your regular face wash and cold water.

Repetitions: You should use this pack daily for best results.

These are some of the common methods in which you can use aloe vera for lightening your skin spots. You can also apply the freshly squeezed gel directly on your face if you are too lazy to make a pack with it.

The effectiveness of the aloe vera is dependent on the amount it is used and how frequently it is being used and also your skin type. Another important factor is also the age of the skin it takes a little longer to work on older skin type.

On a general basis the results of aloe vera treatment is observed within a few weeks but you need to be patient until then. You will notice the slow reduction of the pigmentation and dark spots. You need to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the products before applying them and always consult your doctor before applying any pack on your face.
